ALPS POTENTIOMETERS
The quality and sound of the ALPS 'Blue Velvet' & 'Black Beauty' pots is well known and established.
The tracking precision, tonal balance, dynamics and imaging are a world apart from ordinary pots.
There was a thing annoying us though. Power.
Well in this digital world, sources can be relentless and the normal 50 mW ALPS could overload at times.
We ordered 100/150 mW 1,5% 46 VAC types with specially positioned brushes and the ALPS sound improved dramatically.
Our prices are even lower than the normal types elsewhere!
Blue Velvet sounds great but the Black Beauty type is more open if you have enough space.
