Bad quality RCA connectors can seriously degrade sound purity especially as they deteriorate with time.
But it is our belief that jewel precision and sky-high prices cannot do much for sound either.
We have found perfectly adequate and very sturdy RCA males and females that sound and look very good and you can buy them at down to earth prices.

You probably need some good quality hook up wire to complete a project or to rewire an upgraded component.
The bad thing is that you need much wire and when you checked prices of what well known cable manufacturers had to offer you got scared.
The same happened to us and we searched and listened a lot.
We finally found a very good sounding stranded & silver plated wire insulated in Teflon that is not bright sounding and has the purity and impact that we were searching for.
It comes in 3 different gauges it is single conductor and it can be twisted and combined to form a great sounding speaker wire as well.
